Saturday School Seminar Series II
Series II: Positive Behavior Management: Teaching from a Restorative Paradigm
More in depth than Series I, this five-day seminar meets one Saturday a month January thru May. This allows deeper learning at a pace that recognizes change takes time and requires support. Participants will examine and compare traditional schooling practices with research on learning and healthy youth development. The class will compare outcomes of zero tolerance policies vs. restorative measures in building school community. Throughout the seminar participants will focus on classroom management and creating a restorative culture.
This course may be available for graduate credit from the University of Minnesota, Duluth.*
* University of Minnesota, Duluth will award graduate credit to participants providing a minimum of five participants from each class/workshop register for the credit.
