Evaluation comments:
I learned “how to arc weld and face my fears, never say I can’t”
On working together as a group of women, “It was really weird because most women argue and don’t agree with each other on stuff, but we all just listened to each other and heard each other out”

Discussions with the girls revealed that 100% of the girls now want to attend college! 8 of 10 girls received a full college credit in arc welding from WITC |

The final project was a sculpture of welded steel representing the strength of women and diversity. Each girl made an individual design and then, as a team, all designs were combined, creating this sculpture! |
