KUMD Women's Music Show

During group, girls wrote their own "This I Believe Statements" modeled after the original idea on  National Public Radio in the 1950's. The project was weaved into Black History Month and Womens History month with the reading of  Phyllis Allen's This I Believe Statement, "Leaving Identity Issues to Other Folks".  On April 25, 2010, we were interviewed live by Sally on the KUMD (103.3 FM)  Womens Radio Show. Interested? Find out the realities of teenage girls and what their "This I Believe Statements" are.
