WHAT IS THE DON’T BUY IT PROJECT?

We Are All Connected: Creating Exit Ramps from Sex Trafficking into Safety and Healing" is a practice tool created as part of the Don’t Buy It Project (DBIP), a program of Men As Peacemakers (MAP) aimed at engaging men and masculine folks in the prevention of sex trafficking and other forms of sexual exploitation.

"We Are All Connected: Creating Exit Ramps from Sex Trafficking into Safety and Healing" is designed to shift how men and masculine folks (and others in the community) think about and talk about the commercial sex industry, as well as how our communities should approach the prevention of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation.

How can this tool be utilized?

MAP’s priority is to reduce the number of people who experience this type of harm by identifying and eliminating the community-level conditions that create entry ramps into this industry, and changing community-level conditions to unblock or create exit ramps into safety and healing.

how to access this resource

MAP recognizes that violence prevention needs to take place on both the individual and organizational level. We also understand the importance of ensuring that everyone, regardless of their organization size or budget, has equal opportunities to access our resources to support their individual and community efforts to prevent violence and promote community-connectedness. Therefore, there are two ways to access this practice tool.
